WHO ARE YOU?

Hi! My name is Clifton Li. Born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Toronto in 1997. I studied in photography at Ryerson University and started my career as a commercial photographer. 3 years ago I decided to build a team focus on wedding and event videography because of my love of storytelling.

Personally I’m a man with few words who prefer to express himself through the art. I’m also a perfectionist and care about every client I have the chance to work with. If you see me all serious and quiet. That usually means I’m getting some really awesome footages.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN FILMING WEDDINGS?

We started wedding photography as a team since the spring of 2016 and we got into filming weddings in a few years ago. Since 2016, we have captured over 200+ weddings in Toronto and abroad.

WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU TO FILM OUR WEDDING?

Very simply, I am a perfectionist and I expect the same for my team. We always try our best to provide the cleanest composition possible and superb quality in our work.

We are always striving to improve our skills and our work after each and every wedding day. We also love to bring you in the creative process. Creativity and imagination are the fuel to our minds, and it goes without saying that bringing you into the fold of our artistic endeavours will always produce unforgettable memories that last throughout the lifetime.

Lastly, we have extensive experience with a many diverse backgrounds, and with the multiculturalism in Canada, we are more than ready to accommodate to your cultures, styles and tastes.

WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU BRING TO A WEDDING?

We upgrade our equipment constantly to stay up to date with industry standards.

In terms of gear, we bring tripods, monopods, sliders, stabilizer, lav mics, digital field sounds recorders, lights, and plenty of backup gears to film your event.

WHAT TYPES OF CAMERAS DO YOU USE TO FILM WEDDINGS?

We currently use Sony Full Frame Cameras, and DJI Cinematic Drones.

HOW DO YOU RECORD SOUND AT A WEDDING?

Audio is a key and vital part of your wedding film and we do everything we can to ensure that we capture the best sound quality with the right gear throughout the wedding day.

All of our cameras have an external microphone attached for professional recording for clear sound.

For example we put a lavalier microphone on the groom or the officiant during ceremony to record the vow exchange. For reception we plug directly into DJ’s mixer to get a clear audio for speeches.

We also will leave a mic on the podium as a backup sound recorder.

WHAT IS YOUR FILMING STYLE?

We believe capturing genuine expression is the best approach to documenting your wedding day. We will do minimal amount of staging only when it is necessary to create a better composition. That is why we like to film your event in a most non-intrusive and realistic way possible.

We make every effort to document all the important moments with laughs and tears so you get to relive the day many years from now.

HOW LONG WOULD IT USUALLY TAKE FOR YOU TO FINISH EDITING OUR WEDDING VIDEO?

We generally deliver all of our videos in 10-16 weeks. If your wedding is taking place during the winter season, there will be a quicker turnaround time.

We handle all the editing in house and never outsource to other editors. That is the best way to ensure the consistency of style and top-notch quality.

We ship your video on a USB drive to any address you choose free of charge. We also upload your highlights video and provide you with a playable link that you can share to your friends and family.

HOW DO YOU SELECT THE MUSIC FOR YOUR VIDEOS?

We always ask you if you have any music preferences before we start the edit. Feel free to let us know if you have a specific genre of music that you like. We are also happy to incorporate specific songs or music that you want.

For the highlight video, we usually like to use a fast and a slower music. We believe the music you choose really reflect your personality and will tell your story better in a more personal way. If you are having a hard time choosing, then we will pick something for you based on the vibe of the event.

For the coverage video, we usually ask you to provide us with 5 to 7 of your favourite songs. From this selection, we will then pick the song that best reflects the wedding.

DO YOU USE LIGHTING WHEN YOU ARE FILMING MY WEDDING?

We always bring studios lights to all our bookings as a safety precaution, but will only use them in extremely dark scenario and as our last resort.

The reason why this is our last resort is because the lights may change the mood of your decor and interfere with your wedding guests’ experience.

DO YOUR VIDEOGRAPHERS FOLLOW US TO THE PHOTOSHOOT?

Yes, we usually follow the wedding party to the photoshoot.

During the photo session, we do our best to capture candid moments between the bridal party, the bride and the groom.

If time permits, we will also try to have a creative filming session. Usually, we ask the bride & groom to reserve 20 to 30 minutes for us.

HOW DO WE SECURE YOUR SERVICE?

When you decide we are the best fit for your wedding day, we will draft up a contract for your date.

To secure your date we require a deposit and a signed contract.
